Updated September 13 2006 Rick Dodge, one of the partners of Media Central (the designers I work with), likes to remind clients that all web product is beta. All web product is a work in progress, always in development. About a year ago, I launched cerebralpress.com. The original intent was a daily paid subscription newsletter. Then I became more realistic, decided to go weekly. I scoured the internet for 10 to 20 stories with a disability slant, writing supporting copy from my insider’s perspective for a non disabled audience. In 2006, I decided to integrate the consulting business (www.wilhansen.biz) with cerebralpress.com. At wilhansen.biz we consult with companies, helping them build internal disability initiatives that benefit the company and all its customers. Cerebralpress.com is now an open blog geared toward the business community. We will take a story from the headlines; provide some context and a basic sketch of how we would advise a client to respond. Our hope is that cerebralpress will become a business resource site, providing support and food for thought when it comes to disability and business. We are sorting out a redesign for the site and exploring new features for the redesigned site. In the interim, we are using our original framework to begin publishing as a blog. Thanks for stoppng by, check out the new postings below and stay tuned for more features!
